I’m Joti Gata-Aura
A London-based, Spanish-speaking, British-Asian Presenter and Online Advocate, with a skin condition known as Vitiligo.
Better representation
I run a business called Positively Diverse. Its purpose is to champion better representation in the media for those with visible differences and disabilities.
Building confidence
Being a parent and a teacher has encouraged me to stand out and stop hiding my skin condition.
I want to help the next generation celebrate their individuality and be accepted for their differences. To come together in their similarities, to create a positively diverse and more inclusive society.
Positivity around diversity
I’m all about building community and confidence in people like me, who should be seen and heard. Kickstarting down-to-earth conversation. Role modelling better representation in the media.
Making a difference
I work with the media and charitable organisations to support my purpose. My work with celebrities and influencers helps amplify my message.
My passion for languages also helps me break down barriers, reaching a wider audience and bringing even more people together. I speak Fluent Spanish, conversational French and Punjabi.
