Interview with Polly Gotshi from Vitiliglow

Whilst we are seeing lots of brands and influencers confidently showing off their skin we must recognise that not everyone feels the same.

Polly Gotshi known by her brand called Vitiliglow appeared on Dragons Den in 2015 with her camouflage brand and since has become hugely successful for the many people who continuously rely on her make-up to cover up their Vitiligo. It was a real pleasure to interview Polly and in my three part series, I explore the reasons behind her brand, why she cannot go out without make-up and why her brand works well to cover Vitiligo. Polly also has the opportunity to ask me how I started to accept the skin I am in and I discuss the strategies that effectively worked for me in order to reach the “acceptance” stage by being able to stop wearing make-up on a daily basis.

There are many make up products on the market for covering up various skin conditions but very few that can cover larger extensive areas of skin. Some of these products can be time consuming to apply on a daily basis.
